Today I'm taking off with a new web presence. Gone is the cheesy look and the outdated information. Now you can expect regular posts about the world of  Learning and Performance. Expect links to resources, books, ideas...all of the things I share in class! Woohoo! (and yes, the same bad humor you've experienced before!)

Let's face facts. We are experiencing a time like none before. Training and employee development is an easy reduction when times get difficult. I hope to provide some support through that tough time. I'll also provide that nudge some of you have heard before, training professionals have to think differently. We have to position ourselves in the organization as performance consultants, change agents, innovators of ideas. We have to seek opportunities to improve performance in meaningful ways and not just get great class evaluations. We will explore ideas together, surface some alternatives and weather the storm.
